1. By asking for a quote or commission you are agreeing to these terms.
2. Once you have your quote, it will remain valid for 12 months.
3. If I am open for commissions at the time of receiving your quote, I will be able to accept your order straight away. If commissions are closed, you will need to wait until the next commission opening and contact me to claim a slot. Commission status is displayed below. There is also the option to receive live updates via mailing list. I open for new orders roughly every three months - priority is given to mailing list subscribers.
4. Each batch of commissions will be worked on and completed at roughly the same time, so there is no 'queue' as such. I aim to complete each commission batch within three months of order confirmation. There is a possibility of this timeframe overrunning in situations outside of my control, such as illness, delays to deliveries of materials, or delayed contact from a customer. I will inform the customer of any potential delays.
5. If you are wanting your commission delivered in time for a particular event, please discuss this with me at the time of ordering. I do not accept rush-orders.
6. You must be at least 16 years old to place an order. If you are under 16, your commission must be paid for and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
7. Upon contacting me with a commission inquiry, you will be asked to fill out a quote form, if you have not done so already. Submitting a quote form is not an obligation to place an order. Once I have received your completed form I will contact you with a quote.
8. I live in the United Kingdom, and my currency is Great British Pounds (GBP). I will not accept payments sent in any other currency. Such payments will be reversed and you will be asked to try again. If you need to view my prices in a different currency, I would recommend using the converter at www.xe.com.

9. I will require a deposit (AKA down-payment) to confirm your order. This payment will be roughly 30% of the total cost (rounded up or down as applicable), and is NON-REFUNDABLE. The reason for this is that the funds will immediately be used to purchase the fabrics and other materials required to build your fursuit. Additionally, your deposit covers my utilities, admin, and customer service during the commission process.

10. Refunds for fursuit commission down-payments will only be issued under the following circumstances;
A) I decide to cancel the commission myself.
B) If the customer feels that the turnaround time has overrun by an unreasonable amount AND I am unable to provide new photographic evidence of progress on the order after one elapsed month.

11. After paying your deposit, my preference is that the remaining balance for the order is paid upon its completion. It is recommended to regularly check for updates on your order via my Trello board, as this will give you an idea of how close it is to being completed. If you would prefer to pay it off in instalments during the commission process (NOT after completion), please contact me to arrange this with as much notice as possible.

12. If I complete your order and there is still an outstanding balance, you will have 30 days from the day of completion to pay it off. (Extensions can be arranged on a case by case basis.) If the agreed upon deadline is not met, I reserve the right to sell the costume to someone else. No refunds will be issued after this time.

13. Your order will be shipped only after it has been paid for in full, postage fees included.
14. If you are paying in instalments, they must be sensible round amounts. The minimum amount you can send as an instalment is £100.
15. My primary method of receiving payment is PayPal, however I do prefer bank transfer. Customers able to pay with bank transfer will be offered a 5% discount on their order total. (Bank transfers are free within the UK. International transfers may incur fees - please check your bank's policies.) These days most banks offer buyer/seller protection on transactions in a similar way to Paypal.
16. I reserve the right to refuse a commission for reasons including, but not limited to;
A) Character artwork that is sexually explicit, inadequate/not suitable as a fursuit reference, or AI generated.
B) Characters that you do not own or are from trademarked media (for example, My Little Pony or Pokemon)
C) Character artwork featuring patterns or elements that are too complicated to be translated onto a fursuit.
17. I will follow any references that are given, however I will make the product in my own artistic representation of the character's design.
18. Character artwork is mandatory for heads, partials and fullsuits (except in the case of a 'creative freedom' commission). Any features you want to have included on the fursuit must be clearly visible in your artwork – I am not a mind-reader!
19. For small items like paws and tails with very simple colour schemes, a written description will suffice, however for the sake of accuracy it is still preferable that you provide a visual reference.

20. Requests to send me fabrics or parts for use in the construction of your fursuit, or requests for me to order furs/fabrics/parts from a specific merchant, may be accepted on a case by case basis. I reserve the right to refuse your request if I feel that it could lead to misunderstandings, inaccuracies, or an inferior product.
21. If you are ordering fursuit parts from me with the intention of wearing them with parts made by someone else, please be aware that you do so at your own risk. I will not be held accountable for the fabric colours/textures not matching up. The only exception to this is if you are a return customer ordering more parts for a suit that I have made. However there is no guarantee that the specific materials used to make your fursuit will still be available if you choose to order additional parts at a later date.
22. Allergy information: My home is smoke free. I keep birds and reptiles in the house where I work.
23. All fursuit orders, whether inland or international, are posted by tracked delivery services, and insured for the full value of the order. If your order is lost or damaged due to postal error, I will open an insurance claim and, assuming the claim is successful, you will be compensated in full. In the event of an order arriving damaged, you must retain all packaging and leave the contents in the box as you found it. Successful insurance claims are dependent on the recipient providing clear photographic evidence of the damage.
24. I am able to ship to most countries worldwide, however I am not responsible for customs/duty fees/etc. Please bear in mind that I have no control over how much customs/postal services charge for you to claim your package. I am legally obligated to declare both the contents, and value of the contents, on the customs form.
25. International customers are required to reimburse me for any import fees that may arise from sending me items required for the commission, such as duct-tape dummies.
26. If you want to change a feature on your order, please tell me ASAP before construction begins. If I have already made any of the parts that you want to have redesigned, you will be charged an alteration fee.
27. Creative Freedom Commissions: If I am given complete freedom on your head/partial/fullsuit commission, you will be entitled to a substantial discount. You may pick a species and also specify whether you would prefer a 'natural' colour scheme (ie. shades found in nature and/or are applicable to your chosen species), or 'unnatural' colour scheme (all the colours of the rainbow!). All other aspects of the character's design will be my choice. If there are specific features you would like included on a Creative Freedom fursuit, for example digigrade legs or LED eyes, you will be charged for these add-ons at normal rates.
By default, character artwork is not included with Creative Freedom fursuit commissions. But if you would prefer to see what the fursuit will look like in advance, rather than it be a surprise, I can provide a character reference sheet for an additional fee. Requests to change aspects of the proposed character design are only permitted with the understanding that it will then cease to be a Creative Freedom commission, and you will be charged for the fursuit at full rates.
28. If your order includes a bodysuit, you are required to provide a duct-tape dummy before I can begin work on it. There are numerous tutorials available online for making a good quality DTD. Failure to make your DTD properly will result in a bodysuit that does not fit you. If I receive a DTD that is very obviously not fit for purpose, I will ask you to make another one. However, ultimately you are responsible for making sure that you are providing me with a DTD that is an accurate representation of your body shape. As an example of a common issue - if the arms and legs of your DTD are too short, then the arms and legs of your bodysuit will also end up too short. Poorly fitting bodysuits caused by issues with the DTD are not covered by warranty, and any required alterations will be at the customer's expense.
29. Cancellations: If you have changed your mind and wish to cancel your order, your deposit will not be refunded except under certain circumstances, as detailed in sections 9 and 10. Any materials that I have purchased for your commission, or any parts of the order that have already been built before you requested to cancel, can be posted to you, provided that you cover the postage fees. If the amount of work completed is over the value of what you had paid off before cancellation, you will be required to pay the difference if you wish to have those parts of the order posted to you. Any materials and/or parts that you do not wish to claim will be put back into the business or sold on as applicable. If you paid any additional instalments on your order after the initial 30% down-payment, you may be entitled to a refund for those instalments. The amount refunded will depend on how much of the order had been completed before you cancelled.
30. If you need to return part of your fursuit for repair or alteration, please make sure the items are clean. Soiled or smelly items will be refused and returned at your expense.
31. Warranty: I offer free repairs & alterations on fursuit orders within the first 30 days of it being received. I will cover the cost of return postage, but getting the items to me must be arranged and paid for by the customer. This warranty does not cover requests to change a feature on a completed order (for example, wanting to change the colour of the eyes), unless it is due to my own error. Changing a feature after the fursuit is finished is often not feasible, so be sure of what you want before you place an order.
This warranty also does not cover alterations required due to customer error, for example issues with the duct-tape dummy as detailed in section 28.
32. Customers are welcome to return fursuit parts to me for repair or refurbishment at any point during the lifetime of the product. After the 30-day warranty has expired, all postage fees must be covered by the customer. Simple repairs can often be done free of charge, while more complex repairs - especially those requiring replacement parts - will incur a fee.

33. I endeavour to make my fursuits as comfortable and durable as possible. However it should be noted that fursuits are classified as custom-made 'wearable artwork', and do not conform to the same standards as commercially manufactured clothing. Therefore, the wearer/owner is fully responsible for their own health and safety while wearing/owning my fursuits or fursuit parts.
